I agreed with the move before knowing that this was not a moving company. I even asked the first person that I talked too and he did not make it clear that they were a broker and not a moving company. This person indicated that my move would all be taken care of and said that my special requests would be part of the move. So I agreed and signed that contact and paid a $1090 deposit. Then I get a call from a second person that indicates that I will have to pay an additional amount of $1000 for protective packaging and other packing materials and that my special request will have to be worked out with the moving company. This is when I discover I wasn't dealing with the moving company. This just day after that the first person said it was all included. This sent up a red flag and I decided to cancel which was less than 48 hours after I signed the first contract. However, they say that I am not entitled to a refund and proceed to try to get me to agree to the first contract price, so they don't lose the deal. This just made me want to cancel even more. The move was not a full house just small list of items as I sold most of my furniture. Plus, It was only for 4 miles and should not have been this big of a deal.Customer Name
