1143.43Reason for Claim
In late Oct 2019, I contracted with Elite Moving and Storage to pickup in Florida and deliver to Montana my household goods--total of $3098.40—of which I paid via credit card $1143.43. Half of the remaining balance of $1954.97 would be collected at the time of pick up and the final payment due upon delivery. I paid the mover (subcontracted to Ron Williams of Load & Go Relocation--USDOT # 2454968) $977.49 at the time of pick up. Delivery never happened and Jessica (the point of contact at Elite Moving and Storage) was of no help. I continued to try to contact Mr. Williams to no avail and after many telephone inquiries to Elite, I was told my Jessica to “do what I needed to do” to get my things and that she would not file a claim with her insurance company on my behalf. I ended up going to Arlington TX and brought my things back via U-Haul.Customer Name
