Fox left an armoire upstairs because they didn’t have the resources or manpower to move it. It was disclosed on the video bid that the prior movers had to Lift it over a banister and that two nonprofessionals could not get it down the stairs. I asked two men and a truck the cost to Move it after Fox left it. Their rate is $200 An hour and it would take 5-6 hours. I now have to replace this piece of furniture as my husband chose to destroy it and paid a kitchen company $100 to put their pieces in the dumpster. The owner, Chris , won’t even call me. He is hiding behind Heath who video taped the bid. The bid was never received until the movers were en route. There is some law in Georgia that there is a flat rate that gets charges over 90 mile Bid. We thought that the industry had gone to video bids and the flat rate was the reason Heath never sent an itemized list. My husband also had to lift a grand piano 🎹 n both ends because they were short a guy. My husband had to move a bumper pool table because it didn’t fit on the truck. Fox wants it both ways. They say I orders one truck ( Heath ordered one truck . I didn’t go online and order anything ), but then three times on the bid almost didn’t get moved. Two did because by husband loaded his truck , and shit down two days of work to play fourth man. Chris , the owner , also implied their storing my items overnight was $250. Their men showed up 3 hours late and didn’t want to work until midnight. I said it was fine they moved it the next day if I got charged no more and it was insured. Ty said she would send something in writing saying such. That was it received either. Since moving at night is illegal in Georgia and my husband didn’t want to drive that late , we agreed. I consider Chris’s ethics to be off here. Who implies he gave me a free service when it cost him nothing and was illegal to move at night anyway ? This cost is much ,much more than $750. Out of pocket was $175 ( dumping fee and tips to painters to move items in house that were on the bid ). I also have to replace the $1300 pice and my husband lost 17 hours of work at $150 an hour billable rate. I have been more than flexible.Customer Name
