We reached Mayflower who conveyed a delegate from Ramar Moving Systems to give us an appraisal on our turn from Maryland to California. At the initially meeting, everything went alright and we got a quote. The quote was fundamentally higher (upwards of $8,000 more) that other moving organizations, however I ran with them as they and Mayflower had great Yelp Reviews. When I reached the estimator from Ramar in regards to the noteworthy value distinction, he guaranteed me that on the off chance that I ran with them, I would get quality administration, which couldn't have been more remote from reality. Unfortunately, I trusted him. The following are the greater part of the things that turned out badly some time recently, amid and after the move:
1. Preceding the move, the estimator proposed that we would require a van (additional expense) to move things from our home to the moving truck due to our garage access. I guaranteed the estimator this would not be required. I sent him a subsequent email requesting that he turn out to take a gander at the entrance again and rethink the bus. He didn't, yet said he had somebody take a gander at the property by means of Google Earth, and it was required. On the day the truck driver arrived, he concurred that a van was not required, so he didn't utilize one. He let us know that we would not be charged. When I called Mayflower who reached Ramar they said that they would give me back 2/3 of the expense of the van since it was a set cost. Not cheerful since I let them know a few times that a van would not be required (I have messages to demonstrate it).
2. Before the move, I doubted the quantity of vast picture boxes they said that they required. I was guaranteed that the estimator recognized what he was doing. At last, they required no less than 10 a greater amount of these crates. I declined to pay for them and they consented to cover it.
3. Upon the arrival of the move, the truck driver asked my spouse where they could eat. My spouse was running an errand, so offered to make the nourishment keep running for them (5 movers in addition to a truck driver-not modest). The truck driver never repaid my spouse and went about as though it was normal.
4. At the point when the things touched base at our area a day late, there were a few costly severed things three legs of three distinctive lounge areas seats, a leg off of our smorgasbord table, a gap in the highest point of our work area, a wheel off of our office seat, a story light was snapped down the middle, an opening in the base of our fresh out of the box new dresser, and some thing with scratches on them (new bureau, excitement focus). The truck driver as a matter of fact faulted the packers and said he didn't care for the group that moved us.
5. When they touched base at our place to empty, they realized that they were putting away the things in a carport, so they just sent 2 movers when it took 5 movers throughout the day to stack the truck.

Shocking Experience! Packers were great yet the movers were butchers! Demolished my fresh out of the plastic new, Berber floor coverings with messy, oily foot shaped impressions. Broke legs on 4 profitable, costly mahogany pieces, including a Stickley veneered eating table. Destroyed every one of the leaves to the table with warmth and belt harm. Scratches, gouges and chips on almost every furniture piece. Pre-move client administration lady was impolite and unconcerned.
Having made three crosscountry moves with for all intents and purposes no harm utilizing different organizations, I know Ramar/United was pointlessly terrible. In the event that you think about your fine belonging, maintain a strategic distance from this organization!

Estimated pick up was 2 hours but they showed up after 4 hours (2 hours past the estimated time range) then refused any partial refund due to this inconvenience. The delay in pick up caused a huge delay to my move. Very unhappy with Eric and Melanie.
