Sadly tons of my furniture was scratched, smashed, and broken. It was a very sad and frustrating experience overall. However I felt the staff was extremely friendly and outgoing. They also reimbursed the majority of damage. I fell for the small estimate I originally received before the move.

We found Sean and his team - Kevin, Dan and Chris - as a result of amazing positive posts on our local NextDoor site. We were moving into a brand new home just across town. The guys were courteous, capable and even made suggestions since Paul was having knee surgery in a week ! A previous neighbor used Dry Ridge 3 times and raved about them. Strongly recommend

Jerome, Denzel and CJ did our move August 17,2020. They were highly efficient, hard working and very cordial. It seemed like they worked non stop for the entire 4 hours. I would highly recommend this crew and hope they are assigned to deliver our belongings in a few days.

I called this wonderful company on Tuesday for help moving our things from a 26 ft UHaul on Thursday. Sheri asked if 4:00 would be ok and I asked if they could do it at 1:00. She advised they were booked up, however would check on this time. She called back later and said they could do it. Two guys arrived about 45 minutes early and worked hard. Not only did they have to unload the big truck but had to load it up onto a 16ft truck . They were great to work with, very professional and courteous . No walls were touched with the furniture and placed where we wanted. We would hire them again and you should hire them also. Thank you

We had a horrible experience! Billing was not transparent and cards were charged before we were given an invoice. Communication within the company was awful - one group didn't seem to know what someone from another department told us. WE HAVE 5 BOXES MISSING and had one box delivered that doesn't belong to us - and is still here after 3 weeks of us contacting Black Tie to come get it. The trucks looked like our stuff was tossed in without care and several of the crew threw things around without caution. We had an antique writing desk that was carefully covered, but then unwrapped outside in the rain when the truck was unloaded - and my washer and dryer were left sitting in the driveway during the rain until I asked them to please bring them in. We have had to fight each bill about charges that were assigned without our knowledge and we are still dealing (3 weeks later) with trying to get some response about our missing items. We should have gone with a major company that would be more careful with our stuff!!

Very poor customer service with Main Street. Made the pick up late. Delivered the load 1 day late. Company will not call you back after the delivery. They will not address any damage issues until I had to call their corporate office. Their corporate office could not help me since Main Street did not put a reference number on the bill of lading. Very frustrated with the entire experience. Will never use Main Street it Allied Cans again. I have learned my lesson.

Goodness Heck Yes. Goodness the story is long, dreary, tiresome.... Gracious the first corporate procured movers out of Virginia was a NIGHTMARE!!! To such an extent that we contracted our own particular movers to TAKE BACK our stuff from the organization our managers procured! It is safe to say that you are understanding me? Our boss was paying for our turn with a national planning organization "practicing" in corporate moves - mind you I never knew about that organization - and GOD FORBID - I ever need to manage of course!!! In any case ANYWAY - despite the fact that we lived in Chicago and we moved to DC, a companion prescribed we connect with this organization in Memphis - Crazy. From the get go - Ewing Staff were proficient, responsive, great LISTENERS, clear communicators AND are you prepared the best cost!! No arranging, no insanity, all REAL DEAL! Also, did I specify SERVICE arranged? These people connected with the other organization SO I DID NOT HAVE TO DEAL WITH the DEVIL. Did I say BEST PRICE??? Also, think about what - movers dropped off my stuff, were proficient, clear, blast: same price!!!!! No Games ALL PROFESSIONAL. I can hardly wait for them to arrange my guardian's turn crosscountry! It would be ideal if you if it's not too much trouble don't hesitate to message me in the event that you have questions: I am so upbeat!

UNETHICAL AND ILLEGAL!! Cord would not stand behind the statement made in writing by their own employee who informed us via email on the day of our goods delivery, that we have nine months from the date of delivery to file a claim for damage. Cord sent a letter after we filed the claim within that timeframe that "any and all damage must be noted at time of delivery". It is impractical and impossible given the number of hours in a day and that this was a full 2-story home move to open everything and identify all damages on the day of move. The position Cord took in this matter is unethical and illegal. The Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) states that "You have 9 months from the date of delivery (or in the event of loss for the entireshipment, from the date your shipment should have been delivered) to file your claim." Cord refused.
