My parents recently did a move from Miami to Atlanta. After hearing many horror stories about movers, I felt compelled to write this review.
From the moment Alex Trento came to my home to give me an estimate until the furniture was delivered to our new home in Georgia, I was totally impressed with the professionalism, courtesy and honesty of everyone I dealt with. Dates were adhered to and small unforseen obstacles were dealt with quickly. I would not hesitate to recommend Authority Van Lines to anyone!

We were very nervous about moving our elderly parents. after much online research we decided to get 3 estimates. Each moving company had something different to say , yet they all kind of fell into the same end result. We ultimately chose Authority Van Lines based on our research and thought they were the best choice. We were happy with the end result. the movers were nice people and did a good job. they treated my parents belongings with respect and really did a good job. i was impressed with the amount of patience they displayed during the move. the company obviously has a lot of experience dealing with elderly clients. The pricing was fair and the entire service was a very good experience.

I am exited to say that this company is celebrating 20 years in business. Fort Lauderdale moving has moved me so many times in the past years. I call Gary and he is always there for me, no matter what time of day, week, or month, I get a yes. I get a VIP rate for being a repeat customer, and I get a great crew every time. Thank you for always being there when I need to move, as I move almost every year, lol. Great bunch of guys!

We are very impressed with the service and professionalism of Authority Van Lines this past month on our new venture with our newest project. This moving company removed every bit of furniture off of a 170 ft yacht flawlessly, not an easy task and a great job done. Great teamwork with the crew, very well orchestrated moving.

I am very happy with the service from Authority Van Lines. I had a chance to see a professional performance from a company that really cares and stays devoted until the end. We had a long day but was a good day, got a lot done. Came highly recommended, showed and proved.

Thank you for the excellent move I recieved from Authority Van Lines in Hollywood. I was impressed with the experience and drive for a perfect move. These guys really know how to show off when they are doing a move. I was quoted high prices by numerous moving companies and they all said I had a two truck move or needed a tractor trailer. Gary came out and loaded my 26' truck and said if it doesent all fit we can rent a trailer. With Gary's loading skills, everything went on the 26' truck. I really appreciate the time and dedication spent to getting everything on the truck and saving me the money I otherwise would have spent. Thanks again!!!!

I want to say thank you for my recent move to the Villages. We hunted for a good moving company and we herd the horror stories of moving companies keeping peoples stuff and holding peoples stuff. Gary assured me that he would pick up and deliver within 48 hours to the the Villages in north FL and thats what he did. I was skeptical until the end but they really came through and now this moving company will be the only one I call or recommend. Thank you again, good way to show and prove.

Just had a great move from this company The movers were smart and hard working and willing to do my move with the plan i already had in effect. i want to say thank you to Jerry, Kenny, and Greg for the great day and I will definitely use them again.

Question"Six Day on the Road" was a trucker hit released in 1963 by country music singer Dave Dudley. Bill Malone is an author as well as a music historian. He notes the song "effectivelycaptured both the boredom and the excitement, as well as the swaggering masculinity that often accompanied long distance trucking."

QuestionThe year 1611 marked an important time for trucks, as that is when the word originated. The usage of "truck" referred to the small strong wheels on ships' cannon carriages. Further extending its usage in 1771, it came to refer to carts for carrying heavy loads. In 1916 it became shortened, calling it a "motor truck".While since the 1930's its expanded application goes as faras tosay "motor-powered load carrier".

QuestionPublic transportation is vital to a large part of society and is in dire need of work and attention. In 2010, the DOT awarded $742.5 million in funds from the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act to 11 transit projects. The awardeesspecificallyfocused light rail projects. One includes both a commuter rail extension and a subway project in New York City. The public transportation New York City has to offer is in need of some TLC. Another is working on a rapid bus transit system in Springfield, Oregon. The funds also subsidize a heavy rail project in northern Virginia. This finally completes the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority's Metro Silver Line, connecting to Washington, D.C., and the Washington Dulles International Airport. This is important because the DOT haspreviouslyagreed to subsidize the Silver Line construction to Reston, Virginia.
