Crooks. They took my money, hid my furniture for six months, and t hen charged me for storing it. They kept my $ 1300 and then I had to hire Gentle Giant to actually move the furniture. Stay clear of this company

They quoted us the best rate of all the other movers we called. And we paid only what was agreed, nothing more. This company is professional and reliable. And the team is very fast and experienced.

Great moving company!

Used Authority Van Lines this morning and could not have been more pleased! Ed and Gary moved our furniture from one apartment to another very quickly (even though our narrow stairs made it very difficult to move large items). We will definitely be using Authority Van Lines again and will recommend them to all of our friends.

Excellent service with a smile! The crew was on time and ready to work! They assisted with everything from moving it off the truck to assembly and moved diligently to get the job done quickly. They were extra careful with our belongings in order to avoid damage. I would DEFINITELY recommend using them and I would use them again as well.

Awesome crew great people. Very dependable and on time. Price was very reasonable.

Great service great people. Very on time and professional. Would definitely use there service again.

My parents recently did a move from Miami to Atlanta. After hearing many horror stories about movers, I felt compelled to write this review.
From the moment Alex Trento came to my home to give me an estimate until the furniture was delivered to our new home in Georgia, I was totally impressed with the professionalism, courtesy and honesty of everyone I dealt with. Dates were adhered to and small unforseen obstacles were dealt with quickly. I would not hesitate to recommend Authority Van Lines to anyone!

Question As we know in the trucking industry, some trailers are part of large trucks, which we call semi-trailer trucks for transportation of cargo. Trailers may also be used in a personal manner as well, whether for personal or small business purposes.

Question

A circumferential route refers to a public transportation system that follows the route in the shape of a circle. Over time a nickname developed in the European Union, calling transportation networks such as these a "ring road". This is no surprise as Europe has several famous "ring roads" such as the Berliner Ring, the Brussels Ring, the Amsterdam Ring, the Boulevard Périphérique around Paris and the Leeds Inner and Outer ring roads. Other countries adopted the term as well which in turn made the name go international. Australia's Melbourne's Western Ring Road and India's Hyderabad's Outer Ring Road both adopted the name. However in Canada, the term is most commonly used, with "orbital" used to a much lesser extent.

On the contrary, the United States calls many "ring roads" as belt-lines, beltways, or loops instead. For example, the Capital Beltway around Washington, D.C. Some ring roads use terminology such as "Inner Loop" and "Outer Loop". This is, of course, for the sake of directional sense, since compass directions cannot be determined around the entire loop.

Question

Although there are exceptions, city routes are interestingly most often found in the Midwestern area of the United States. Though they essentially serve the same purpose as business routes, they are different. They feature "CITY" signs as opposed to "BUSINESS" signs above or below route shields. Many of these city routes are becoming irrelevant for today's transportation. Due to this, they are being eliminated in favor of the business route designation.

Question The industry intends to both consumers as well as moving companies, this is why there are Ministers of Transportation in the industry. They are there to set and maintain laws and regulations in place to create a safer environment. It offers its members professional service training and states the time that movers have been in existence. It also provides them with federal government representation and statistical industry reporting. Additionally, there are arbitration services for lost or damaged claims, publications, public relations, and annual tariff updates and awards. This site includes articles as well that give some direction, a quarterly data summary, and industry trends.

Question Moving companies that operate within the borders of a particular state are usually regulated by the state DOT. Sometimes the public utility commission in that state will take care of it. This only applies to some of the U.S. states such as in California (California Public Utilities Commission) or Texas (Texas Department of Motor Vehicles. However, no matter what state you are in it is always best to make sure you are compliant with that state
