Did miss a couple of items left behind in a closet. Could have done a better job of covering floors - especially between elevator and apartment (which was required). Fair to OK in flooring coverage in apartment but could have been better coverage in carpeted rooms.

Suhr Transport was on time, professional, efficient and made sure to place padding around door frames, flooring, furniture, anything that needed attention to prevent any damage. I would not only use them again but I am referring Suhr Transport to the business I work for. I am glad I contacted them and plan on using them in the future. Because they go by the hour, I was also impressed by how fast they moved without any damage. Very proficient.

Hi-Line Moving Services was assigned to my military PCS and it has been the worst, most unprofessional experience I have ever had. They do not answer their phones and when they do it is full of attitude. They were supposed to pick up the empty moving boxes last week and after numerous calls, they finally answered and said that "Their team didn't have any hours left to work so they had to reschedule". Well the day of the reschedule came and no calls, nobody has shown up, simply nothing. So after 5 calls and voice-mails they answer and knew exactly who I was and why I was calling, so I know they listened to my voice mails, and they tell me the crew is on the way and will call me shortly. An hour and a half later, no calls, nobody has shown up, so I tried calling again to get a status and nobody answers. If I have any choice, I will never use this company again and I do not recommend anyone else go through this moving company.

The guys who came to move we were great. Fun personalities, helpful and kind. That's about all the good I can say about this experience. They were horrible at loading the truck. There was some much wasted space. It was a slow process and should have been completed in a much shorter time period. It took my family of 4, 3 hours to move 2 years ago and it should have taken 2 hours for 3 guys to move out/ in. Everything was packed and ready for them to load. After 5 hours I asked they to stop and leave. I was done paying by they hour. What irritated me the most was i had to rent a U haul to get everything out. . I spoke to the owner and I was refunded part of my charge. He was very nice and listened to my comments and understood my frustration.

Most exceedingly awful. Organization. EVER. Keep away from THIS COMPANY At all costs. My experience was so awful I will be reaching the Better Business Bureau. They charged me 4 times my evaluation and that was the minimum of my issues. They lied about the conveyance date TWICE, which made me miss two days of work, and afterward got frightful with me when I requested a rebate taking into account their deception that made me miss two entire days of pay. In the long run they just essentially overlooked my telephone calls and various messages. Such a great amount for client administration I presume. At the point when my stuff was at long last conveyed, I needed to tip $300 all together for the movers to put the furniture where I needed. The movers were additionally discourteous and contemptuous on top of everything, and one of them possessed an aroma similar to death and left a stink that was mind-boggling in my new home.

Went into Peninsula Guns today and was fulfilled by my visit. A men of their word named Paul helped us and never left us unattended, extraordinary information of their item and awesome service...also had an incredible comical inclination. We are a military family. This moving company was awarded the contract to pack and move us. In the first place we needed to change our move dates since they couldn't fit them. Subsequent to moving our move-out day a week regardless they were not able furnish us with packers and movers. In 2009, the book 'Trucking Country: The Road to America's Walmart Economy' debuted, written by author Shane Hamilton. Invented in 1890, the diesel engine was not an invention that became well known in popular culture. For the UK and the EU, the weight is between 3.5 and 7.5 tons (3.9 and 8.3 tons). Local delivery and public service (dump trucks, garbage trucks, and fire-fighting trucks) are around this size.

A business route (occasionally city route) in the United States and Canada is a short special route connected to a parent numbered highway at its beginning, then routed through the central business district of a nearby city or town, and finally reconnecting with the same parent numbered highway again at its end.

1941 was a tough era to live through. Yet, President Roosevelt appointed a special committee to explore the idea of a "national inter-regional highway" system. Unfortunately, the committee's progress came to a halt with the rise of the World War II. After the war was over, the Federal-Aid Highway Act of 1944 authorized the designation of what are not termed 'Interstate Highways'. However, he did not include any funding program to build such highways. With limited resources came limited progress until President Dwight D. Eisenhower came along in 1954. He renewed interest in the 1954 plan. Although, this began and long and bitter debate between various interests. Generally, the opposing sides were considering where such funding would come from such as rail, truck, tire, oil, and farm groups. All who would overpay for the new highways and how.

In 1933, as a part of President Franklin D. Roosevelt’s “New Deal”, the National Recovery Administration requested that each industry creates a “code of fair competition”. The American Highway Freight Association and the Federated Trucking Associations of America met in the spring of 1933 to speak for the trucking association and begin discussing a code. By summer of 1933 the code of competition was completed and ready for approval. The two organizations had also merged to form the American Trucking Associations. The code was approved on February 10, 1934. On May 21, 1934, the first president of the ATA, Ted Rogers, became the first truck operator to sign the code. A special "Blue Eagle" license plate was created for truck operators to indicate compliance with the code.
