Reason for Claim

I paid $858 deposit and $1386 on the day items were picked up in Richmond, Virginia 09/08/2018 to move to Aurora, Colorado. The driver that was contracted by Trans United charged me an additional $700 above the binding contract price when he picked up the things. After weeks went by with no updates I began calling and finally was able to ascertain that, Frank Redding (the "dispatcher") had placed my things in a storage facility in Fort Mill, SC. I immediately flew into SC, called the police, and was able to gain control of my things. I had to pay a locksmith $100 to remove the lock from the storage unit. I am requesting a full refund, reimbursement for airfair, hotel, and car rental to recover my belongings. The truck rental and movers cost me another $2900 for which I am seeking reimbursement as well.
