We had a horrible experience! Billing was not transparent and cards were charged before we were given an invoice. Communication within the company was awful - one group didn't seem to know what someone from another department told us. WE HAVE 5 BOXES MISSING and had one box delivered that doesn't belong to us - and is still here after 3 weeks of us contacting Black Tie to come get it. The trucks looked like our stuff was tossed in without care and several of the crew threw things around without caution. We had an antique writing desk that was carefully covered, but then unwrapped outside in the rain when the truck was unloaded - and my washer and dryer were left sitting in the driveway during the rain until I asked them to please bring them in. We have had to fight each bill about charges that were assigned without our knowledge and we are still dealing (3 weeks later) with trying to get some response about our missing items. We should have gone with a major company that would be more careful with our stuff!!

The main issue we had with the move was that the group by one means or another missed a jolt that held my father's bed together. When he was putting the sheets on it, it wasn't steady. In checking things our, a jolt was lost from the cross bars under the sleeping cushion. Since he didn't discover the jolt anyplace in the flat or back in his apartment suite, he and my sibling needed to discover another jolt in his accumulation of miscellaneous items and take the sleeping cushion and box spring off and set the casing up once more. This was the main issue we had. Something else, everything went easily, aside from a short hold up while the group dropped one fellow off at your office so another could assume control for him as he moved to an alternate task.

Also there was a 1 hour downtime bec one of the workers hurt his toe so the 3 workers rested and watched him. They would not even give me a prorated rate.The 2nd job they took same thing. Oh, have I mentioned the damaged furnitures? I do NOT recommend this company. Please don't be a victim like me.

This individual is a trick craftsman and all around frightful person. Lamentably the mover I utilized beforehand was not able the day I expected to move my things out of capacity.
