Along with its history, Oregon City is filled with museums that allow you to experience how the city came to be with all that has happened in the past. A few museums included are the Museum of the Oregon Territory and the End of the Oregon Trail Interpretive Center. The former presents the geological past, traces Native American habitation, and allows you to see into the lives the pioneers as they settled the West. The latter presents the history of the oregon trail and all the settlers who were brave enough to traverse it. These museums allow the family to have fun but at the same time become more knowledgeble about how their city came to be and how it continues to develop over time. It is also a great place for families to move to because of the clean air and environment it has for its inhabitants.
