I've utilized Samantha Lynn Piner movers on three events, and every time it was an extremely positive affair. The movers are staffed principally with craftsmen and artists who carry out this employment to pay the bills. The rates are sensible, and I've never had any harm as a consequence of their moves.

Hired them for a move from Kure Beach to Florida with them storing our furniture until we found a house to buy. Estimate was $5400 to their storage then $650.00 per month to climate control storage and $5700 to repack truck and deliver when we found a new home. Estimator made a "Mistake" and initial move to storage was$2200.00 higher than estimate which meant storage was $1050.00 instead of lower estimated amount of $650.00 and delivery to Florida was $7400.00 instead of quoted $5700.00 Employees were top shelf but a Mistake in estimating weight of our things cost us $5000.00 more than estimate. Owner returned phone call after five attempts contacting him. Salesman Brooks told me he couldn't sleep when he found out how badly he screwed up our estimate. Ultimately owner took 10% off the bill for extra weight his sales rep had screwed up. What can you do when they low ball price then tell you its just an estimate not binding but now they have all of your things and their held ransom. So sick and tired of moving company scams. No regulation or anyplace to take your issues to for resolution. I really thought trying to hire locally would be a good thing and reviews were all five stars Humm!!!! Wonder if their all honest reviews or their stacking the deck having friends play customers for reviews. There's no five star review from me.

This has been our second time using Tropical moves and each time we have been so impressed with them.. The guys are so pleasant and easy to deal with. Payng by the hour is sometimes not great for the customer but boy, these guys moved. No sitting around and they definitely move fast all the while being super careful with the furniture. They do such an amazing job I'd like to give them 10 out of 5 stars. Use them, you will not regret it.

These folks from Atlantic Moving Systems made an incredible showing moving me. They've additionally moved my life partner twice. They're proficient, well disposed, quick, and accomodating. My unique move date was last Thursday, yet because of the huge "winter tempest of 2010", we needed to reschedule. Fortunately, they turned out to move me the exact following day when the streets were all the more clear.

I got a quote from them for an out of state move and was not awed. The agreement that they sent me over email contained numerous broken connections, the low quote had numerous concealed expenses stairs, nearby transport which I knew I would require, and so forth., and they likewise lied on their site. Very unprofessional movers.

I made the mistake of hiring this company for a move and ended up with multiple pieces of damaged furniture, a cracked mirror, and a scratched hardwood floor. The two guys that showed up were moving extremely slow, took long breaks, and came back from their breaks reeking of marijuana (the owner of the company refused to admit any responsibility for this or take any disciplinary action whatsoever). The quality of their work was horrible. They damaged furniture, they didn't finish the job because of how slow they were, and the company had to send movers out on another day to complete the job that should have been done in one day. When I spoke with the owner about everything, he was extremely rude and confrontational, and refused to admit any wrongdoing. He finally ended up agreeing to comp the move after I showed him pictures of the damages (which he accused me of lying about). However, he then refused to send someone out to assess and repair the damage (which he insisted he would, because the move and the damage repair were two separate transactions). So in the end, I'm left worse off than I was before because of the damaged furniture and a scratched floor that he refused to repair. I confronted him again about this, and he offered to give me a $100 Visa gift card, which I refused. I had read another customer's review of how he had offered the same thing to them, but the gift card he gave them turned out to be empty, and he stopped returning their calls. Do not hire this company, because 1) I have no reason to believe that the two movers we got have ever been disciplined or removed from his staff, so you might get them as your movers, and 2) If you complain, the owner will do everything he can to avoid resolving the issue.
