We had a great experience with our move because of how quick, friendly and efficient our movers were. They completed the move faster than the time that was estimated and while unpacking we found no items were damaged by the movers. They did a great job and I would definitely recommend them

These folks are simply amazing!!! They were so accommodating, hard-working, and all around fantastic to work with. They seem to truly enjoy what they are doing and I couldn't have been more pleased with their performance and attitudes

The guys worked their socks off we had a tricky move as the moving truck was to big to fit down our road so they had to load it on to a small van then load onto the truck what was parked near by. we can highly recommend this company one of the best moves we had and we have moved enough times

They truly treated our move as though it was their own. I cannot believe how hard they worked ALL DAY and were running up the ramp at the end of an extremely long day filled with moving very heavy pieces.

All organised at very short notice but all went very smoothly. They were great; they made the day very easy by being fast and efficient and even helped out with objects I was struggling to pack as well as positioning furniture

DO NOT USE PUBLIC STORAGE THEY SET MY HOUSE ON FIRE THEY DIDNT LABEL BOXES MY PICTURE OIL ORIGINAL SHOVED IN BOXES NO PAPER NO BUBBLE WRAP AND NO PICTURE BOXES

The prices were very reasonable, but what sold me was the professional way they handled my call. It was the best call I made, they were fast and friendly the entire time we worked with them.

Public was great help during my long distance move. We had great collaboration with these guys and they worked perfectly. Their sales rep was more than accommodating. He offered a good deal

The process was very quick and easy and I was charged what I expected to spend. Also when I forgot to mention that we needed an item packed in a proper way the movers complied with our request!

Public Moving Services did a move for me about two or three weeks ago, and they did a fantastic job! the moving crew was very polite and clean cut. They worked very hard and fast. I am shocked, ive never seen such a good company as Public Moving Services!. I give Public Moving Services an A plus!!

QuestionAs we've learned the Federal-Aid Highway Act of 1956 was crucial in the construction of the Interstate Highway System. Described as an interconnected network of the controlled-access freeway. It also allowed larger trucks to travel at higher speeds through rural and urban areas alike. This act was also the first to allow the first federal largest gross vehicle weight limits for trucks, set at 73,208 pounds (33,207 kg). The very same year, Malcolm McLean pioneered modern containerized intermodal shipping. This allowed for the more efficient transfer of cargo between truck, train, and ships.

QuestionBeginning the the early 20th century, the 1920's saw several major advancements. There was improvement in rural roads which was significant for the time. The diesel engine, which are 25-40% more efficient than gas engines were also a major breakthrough. We also saw the standardization of truck and trailer sizes along with fifth wheel coupling systems. Additionally power assisted brakes and steering developed. By 1933, all states had some form of varying truck weight regulation.

QuestionAs we know in the trucking industry, some trailers are part of large trucks, which we call semi-trailer trucks for transportation of cargo.Trailers may alsobe usedin a personal manner as well, whether for personal or small business purposes.

QuestionThe Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) is an agency within the United States Department of Transportation. The purpose of the FMCSA is to regulate safety within the trucking and moving industry in the United States. The FMCSA enforces safety precautions that reduce crashes, injuries, and fatalities involving large trucks and buses.

Question

Compliance, Safety, and Accountability (CSA) are fundamental to the FMCSA's compliance program. The purpose of the CSA program is to oversee and focus on motor carriers' safety performance. To enforce such safety regulations, the CSA conducts roadside inspections and crash investigations. The program issues violations when instances of noncompliance with CSA safety regulationsare exposed.
Unfortunately, the CSA's number of safety investigation teams and state law enforcement partners are rather small in comparison to the millions of CMV companies and commercial driver license (CDL) holders. A key factor in the CSA programis knownas the Safety Measurement System (SMS).This system relies on data analysis to identify unsafe companies to arrange them for safety interventions. SMS is incredibly helpful to CSA in finding and holding companies accountable for safety performance.
