Similar experience to the prior review. They snapped the foot off of an antique armoir, wrote the damage on the bill and then paid me .30 per pound for the damage? This company DOES NOT STAND UP TO ITS WORK. They are liars. they told me they would fix it and then hid behind their contract. they said i was offered additional insurance. they are liars. i would never recommend them
Victimized customer
STAY AS FAR AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY AS YOU CAN!!!! We've been moved by a few different organizations and this one was the total worst!!!! We had a great deal of things stolen and the greater part of our things were just dumped into the containers without being wrapped. I can't trust ALLIED still permits them to work.

A boat trailer is a trailer designed to launch, retrieve, carry and sometimes store boats.
During the latter part of the 20th century, we saw a decline of the trucking culture.Coinciding with this decline was a decline of the image of truck drivers, as they becamenegativelystigmatized. As a result of such negativity, it makes sense that truck drivers werefrequentlyportrayed as the "bad guy(s)" in movies.
Public transportation is vital to a large part of society and is in dire need of work and attention. In 2010, the DOT awarded $742.5 million in funds from the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act to 11 transit projects. The awardeesspecificallyfocused light rail projects. One includes both a commuter rail extension and a subway project in New York City. The public transportation New York City has to offer is in need of some TLC. Another is working on a rapid bus transit system in Springfield, Oregon. The funds also subsidize a heavy rail project in northern Virginia. This finally completes the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority's Metro Silver Line, connecting to Washington, D.C., and the Washington Dulles International Airport. This is important because the DOT haspreviouslyagreed to subsidize the Silver Line construction to Reston, Virginia.
The 1950's were quite different than the years to come. They were more likely tobe considered"Knights of the Road", if you will, for helping stranded travelers. In these times truck driverswere enviedandwere viewedas an opposition to the book "The Organization Man".Bestseller in 1956, author William H. Whyte's novel describes "the man in the gray flannel suit", who sat in an office every day. He's describing a typical office style job that is very structured with managers watching over everyone. Truck drivers represented the opposite of all these concepts. Popular trucking songs glorified the life of drivers as independent "wanderers".Yet, there were attempts to bring back the factory style efficiency, such as using tachnographs. Although most attempts resulted in little success. Driversroutinelysabotaged and discovered new ways to falsify the machine's records.
The most basic purpose of a trailer jack is to lift the trailer to a height that allows the trailer to hitch or unhitch to and from the towing vehicle. Trailer jacks may alsobe usedfor the leveling of the trailer during storage. To list a few common types of trailer jacks are A-frame jacks, swivel jacks, and drop-leg jacks. Other trailers, such as horse trailers, have a built-in jack at the tongue for this purpose.
