Be careful! Out of 16 containers only 15 arrived and the one not to arrive had the most expensive things all packed by their movers! Designer bags and shoes in addition to different things, we are so upset a large portion of the things have been gathered over the years!!!!!

Working with Hillary at International Sea and Air Shipping was an expert ordeal from start to finish. Get was quick and even a day early and conveyance was two days early. We were working inside of a tight due date and ISAS came through without a hitch. Incredible communication by means of email and telephone during the whole process, particularly with the United States Customs. Thank you!!!

If I could give them 0 stars or minus I would. This is the most dishonest, incompetent moving company I have ever hired. I called in July to get a quote for a 20 foot container traveling from the US to Costa Rica. Spoke with Ami Oded who seemed very professional and got back to me very quickly. As I knew there were a lot of extra costs added to the shipment quote later, I asked for his opinion on how much those extra fees could go for a household move. He refused to tell over email and eventually told me over the phone that it could be a few hundred dollars extra (really wish I had that in writing). I said that sounds great and booked the shipment. We were quoted just under 6k and figured we could afford to go a little higher. Also we were expecting some delays due to the pandemic and were not too worried about timing. A couple of weeks later we start receiving more invoices for around 2k each, for various things: for customs inspections both in the US and in Costa Rica, for taxes, for other port fees. To the point where we had payed double the initial quote, around 12k total, and we have not even received any of our things. After the shipment got to Costa Rica we were passed on to a local moving company and we never heard back from International Sea and Air Shipping. We found out the inventory they had prepared was done wrong so the customs in Costa Rica would only release part of the shipment in September. Here we are in December, almost 6 months after I have hired these people, and have lost half of our things because the customs refuse to release them due to the flawed inventory International Sea and Air Shipping had prepared. Do not trust them with your belongings or your money, they are fraudulent company and they know what they are doing to people.

My experience with International Sea & Air Shipping was positive and pleasant. This statement alone is enough to encourage anyone reading this review to utilize their services. Their Office Manager, Tali is efficient, courteous and dedicated to make your move painless and successful! Her communication skills are top notch. Tali is always available to answer any question or concern. Their packing and delivery staff are friendly and competent. I will and would highly recommend International Sea & Air Shipping to readers of this review, family and friends!

  • A moving company, removalist, or van line are all companies that help people as well as other businesses to move their goods from one place to another. With many inclusive services for relocation like packing, loading, moving, unloading, unpacking and arranging of items can all be taken care of for you. Some services may include cleaning the place and have warehousing facilities.
  • According to the U.S. Census Bureau, 40 million United States citizens have moved annually over the last decade. Of those people who have moved in the United States, 84.5% of them have moved within their own state, 12.5% have moved to another state, and 2.3% have moved to another country.
  • In the United States and Canada, the cost for long-distance moves is generally determined by a few factors. The first is the weight of the items to be moved and the distance it will go. Cost is also based on how quickly the items are to be moved, as well as the time of the year or month which the move occurs. In the United Kingdom and Australia, it's quite different. They base price on the volume of the items as opposed to their weight. Keep in mind some movers may offer flat rate pricing.
  • Many people are familiar with this type of moving, using truck rental services, or borrowing similar hardware, is known as DIY moving. Whoever is renting a truck or trailer large enough to carry their household goods may obtain moving equipment if necessary. Equipment may be items such as dollies, furniture pads, and cargo belts to protect furniture and to ease the moving process.
  • As most people have experienced, moving does involve having the appropriate materials. Some materials you might find at home or may be more resourceful to save money while others may choose to pay for everything. Either way materials such as boxes, paper, tape, and bubble wrap with which to pack box-able and/or protect fragile household goods. It is also used to consolidate the carrying and stacking on moving day. Self-service moving companies offer another viable option. It involves the person moving buying a space on one or more trailers or shipping containers. These containers are then professionally driven to the new location.
  • There many reasons for moving, each one with a unique and specific reason as to why. Relocation services, employee relocation, or workforce mobility can create a range of processes. This process of transferring employees, their families, and/or entire departments of a business to a new location can be difficult. Like some types of employee benefits, these matters are dealt with by human resources specialists within a corporation.
