Before I start my review, it is vital that everyone knows that KG Van Lines is a fraud. I did not choose to do business with this company. I contracted with International Van Lines who sold my contract to KG Van Lines. KG picked up my things in Louisiana on May 30, 2018. IVL had given me a bid of $2200. KG quickly inflated it to $6700 with bogus charges and over-charges. I had to move that day, I bit the bullet. What I did not notice at the time was that KG utilized a Bill of Lading and Revised Estimate forms from another company without that company's knowledge or permission. I found this out when my load was delayed and delayed and I called the company on the paperwork and learned I did not have a file with them. It is now exactly 24 days and I still do not have my things. I cannot get an answer from KG Van Lines or a straight answer from International Van Lines. I get an occasional angry and threatening text from KG's driver, and one screaming call from the owner of KG that I could not understand because he could not speak English even slightly well. I am without my things, I have MS and sleeping on an air mattress has really made things worse. I am in a position where a company has possession of my goods but I do not have a contract with them. I am at wits end.

Excellent Moving Company. From the beginning where we worked with a Roadway moving company employee through the planning phase and actual move, this company was terrific. They anticipated our questions, gave us tips to help the move and packing go smooth and were extremely responsive. The movers themselves were professional, courteous, flexible and personable. This move was for my 85 yr old parents who were moving from property they have owned for 50 years in Long Island to a retirement home in Charlton. My mom who is not easy to please said "The move could not have gone better"

WE had always used the ideal move in the past - I would advise against it. Do not use them f you have or are moving with hardwood floors. WE had our floors redone prior to moving to our new house, and while there were only a few large scratches to be redone there were many small scratches across the floors. What I saw was the movers sliding the heavy furniture across the floor countless times.Unfortunately , the vp, Todd chose to blame our dogs and our children with SPECIAL NEEDS for the scratches. On the plus side- the guy who came to give us an estimate was nice and the movers were nice too. The bottom line- After fighting this and receiving many rude emails from Todd, it will be taken to small claims court- what a shame and what a waste of everyone's time. when you hire movers - you wouldnt expect this.

Incredible moving organization! In three days notice Bobby and his team moved my sweetheart and I out of our loft in Albany and down to Queens, NY, likewise ceasing on Long Island to drop off extra stockpiling. I needed to remove a star from my review in light of the fact that after working with Liberty Moving and Storage in Commack, NY I understood that Arnoff was more straightforward and reasonable. I was given a quote and that cost came in near the initial assessment. Liberty charged me about $950.00 off. I trust that is the thing that you call a "guestimate". Other than a couple irritating comments from one of the workers my things arrived securely and the cost was reasonable.

Frank and Cheese were quick and efficient and friendly. I'm a poor packer due to disabilities but everything was handled safely and nothing was broken. They loaded the truck with expertise despite my multi-shaped boxes and odd last minute things. Nothing broke or missing. Frank, was especially helpful. When my furniture didn't fit the new space as nicely as I thought he made excellent suggestions that work well functionally and look good. All my friends live in my new building and stopped by with food and flowers. (I have thoughtful friends.) Their first reaction was to compliment the furniture arrangement so Frank did that very well. I am enjoying the arrangement and would not have placed everything so well without his help. It looks very good and works well too!

Scratch and his group are AWESOME. They made such an incredible showing with regards to with our turn - they were super useful previously getting us the crates we required and organizing subtle elements, they were on time the day of, all so decent and polite, watchful with the majority of our possessions and super quick getting the house got out in time for our end. Nothing was harmed and they were exceptionally clean putting down runners and ensuring floors, dividers and railings. Far superior, their estimating was exceptionally aggressive. I would prescribe them to anybody moving!

These folks are magnificent by a long shot the best experience, dedicated, obliging, moral, and they wrapped the majority of my stuff with wrap so as not to scratch and so on. These guys were incredibly friendly, cheerful and efficient and went way beyond the call of duty--they were unloading a container box at a flat rate, yet they did extra things that were definitely not within the job description, like moving things into two different buildings and then re-moving some items when we discovered we made a mistake.
