I hired this company to move me from a 1 bedroom apt in Tupelo and place my stuff in a storage unit less than a mile from the apartment complex. I had everything packed and the bed taken apart. They charged me 130 dollars an hour, and it took them 3 hours to move. The owner sent to college age kids to move me with no supervision and stuck it to me. I moved from Southaven, MS to Tupelo, MS and used Two men and a truck and paid less than I did for this move.

We could not be more pleased with the service, punctuality, work ethic, and communication involved in our move. We moved over 800 miles away and the movers were admirably efficient. Loading and unloading were both done in timely manners and the entire experience had a friendly, personal feel to it. All items have arrived unscathed! I also want to mention the pre-service of supplies to do the packing. This just made the entire experience an A+! Thank you!

UNETHICAL AND ILLEGAL!! Cord would not stand behind the statement made in writing by their own employee who informed us via email on the day of our goods delivery, that we have nine months from the date of delivery to file a claim for damage. Cord sent a letter after we filed the claim within that timeframe that "any and all damage must be noted at time of delivery". It is impractical and impossible given the number of hours in a day and that this was a full 2-story home move to open everything and identify all damages on the day of move. The position Cord took in this matter is unethical and illegal. The Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) states that "You have 9 months from the date of delivery (or in the event of loss for the entireshipment, from the date your shipment should have been delivered) to file your claim." Cord refused.

Goodness Heck Yes. Goodness the story is long, dreary, tiresome.... Gracious the first corporate procured movers out of Virginia was a NIGHTMARE!!! To such an extent that we contracted our own particular movers to TAKE BACK our stuff from the organization our managers procured! It is safe to say that you are understanding me? Our boss was paying for our turn with a national planning organization "practicing" in corporate moves - mind you I never knew about that organization - and GOD FORBID - I ever need to manage of course!!! In any case ANYWAY - despite the fact that we lived in Chicago and we moved to DC, a companion prescribed we connect with this organization in Memphis - Crazy. From the get go - Ewing Staff were proficient, responsive, great LISTENERS, clear communicators AND are you prepared the best cost!! No arranging, no insanity, all REAL DEAL! From start to finish, working with Allied was a terrible experience. First, we were told that the movers would come on a certain day, and when I called to confirm 2 days prior (because I hadn't heard back via email to confirm), I was told the movers would actually take 2 days and would come the next day. Next, when items were being packed, an entire closet was missed (Luckily, we did a walk through before we moved). Finally, Allied lost nearly $3,000 of items in our move, including our wedding silver, an unused designer purse and attachments for our Dyson vacuum (not to mention things we likely haven't noticed). When I submitted a claim, I was told that since we signed for our items, the claim was invalid (as if one could actually know what was in every box the day they were dropped off). We paid $14k for the pleasure of this terrible experience. AVOID ALLIED AT ALL COSTS.

I utilized My Town Movers through my business, Want It Organized to move a customer. Despite the fact that it was a little move, MTM sent two representatives to handle the move. I was satisfied with the experience I had. I was helping my little girl move from her flat on a second floor to my home. I contacted Williams Transfer and they were so proficient, charming and truly thought about what my requirements were for the move. Long separation mover I don't for the most part stand up about anything besides these folks were incredible on my turn to Phoenix, AZ. I have moved a few times in length separation.
