Recently used Oct 2021, second time using them. Four strong, masked, on-time, polite, kind, & meticulous movers came to move furniture from all around our home. Upstairs, downstairs, basement, and to different rooms. They completed our entire list in 1 hour at a great price for 4 movers! Will continue to use Good Guys Movers, Quincie is great at accommodating any schedule. Thank you again for another perfect move. You guys ROCK! Absolutely highly recommend! Finally a professional moving company that doesn't over charge for delivery. We bought a huge & heavy glass curio & hutch. They picked it up and delivered to our home. It was beautifully and carefully wrapped, delivered quickly and they put it exactly where we wanted. No extra charge for steps or 2 guys & an expensive truck or college kids that charge hundreds of dollars. Good Guys is my new go to moving company! Thank you Quincy, you did exactly as promised & charged me half of your original quote. The BEST!

These folks are insane quick and cautious!! Exceptionally persistent with our hesitation on where to place things. I can't trust the amount they moved so quick. They were so neighborly and proficient at all times and extremely conscious of our home. I can't give these folks any preferred suggestion over the way that I imparted their number as of now to all my family and companions to move their school kids home in the mid year! Credit such an awesome, fair hard working attitude is an uncommon find. Much obliged to you Joey for being so kind and giving us such an awesome arrangement!

Great Guys Moving moved us from Macon to Locust Grove and they made a phenomenal showing! Jarvis and Logan were on time, proficient, neighborly and on errand. The greater part of our things, furniture and boxes arrived flawlessly and they made a brilliant showing emptying at the new place. I prescribe Good Guys to any individual who needs a dependable, proficient organization for moving.

A boat trailer is a trailer designed to launch, retrieve, carry and sometimes store boats.

In 1978 Sylvester Stallone starred in the film "F.I.S.T.". The story is loosely based on the 'Teamsters Union'. This union is a labor union which includes truck drivers as well as its then president, Jimmy Hoffa.

The number one hit on the Billboard chart in 1976 was quite controversial for the trucking industry. "Convoy," is a song about a group of reckless truck drivers bent on evading laws such as toll booths and speed traps. The song went on to inspire the film "Convoy", featuring defiant Kris Kristofferson screaming "piss on your law!" After the film's release, thousands of independent truck drivers went on strike. The participated in violent protests during the 1979 energy crisis. However, similar strikes had occurred during the 1973 energy crisis.

The United States Department of Transportation has become a fundamental necessity in the moving industry. It is the pinnacle of the industry, creating and enforcing regulations for the sake of safety for both businesses and consumers alike. However, it is notable to appreciate the history of such a powerful department. The functions currently performed by the DOT were once enforced by the Secretary of Commerce for Transportation. In 1965, Najeeb Halaby, administrator of the Federal Aviation Adminstration (FAA), had an excellent suggestion. He spoke to the current President Lyndon B. Johnson, advising that transportation be elevated to a cabinet level position. He continued, suggesting that the FAA be folded or merged, if you will, into the DOT. Clearly, the President took to Halaby's fresh ideas regarding transportation, thus putting the DOT into place.

Advocation for better transportation began historically in the late 1870s of the United States. This is when the Good Roads Movement first occurred, lasting all the way throughout the 1920s. Bicyclist leaders advocated for improved roads. Their acts led to the turning of local agitation into the national political movement it became.

The basics of all trucks are not difficult, as they share common construction. They are generally made of chassis, a cab, an area for placing cargo or equipment, axles, suspension, road wheels, and engine and a drive train. Pneumatic, hydraulic, water, and electrical systems may also be present. Many also tow one or more trailers or semi-trailers, which also vary in multiple ways but are similar as well.

Although there are exceptions, city routes are interestingly most often found in the Midwestern area of the United States. Though they essentially serve the same purpose as business routes, they are different. They feature "CITY" signs as opposed to "BUSINESS" signs above or below route shields. Many of these city routes are becoming irrelevant for today's transportation. Due to this, they are being eliminated in favor of the business route designation.

Known as a truck in the U.S., Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Puerto Rico, it is essentially a motor vehicle designed to transport cargo. Otherwise known as a lorry in the United Kingdom, Ireland, South Africa, and Indian Subcontinent. Trucks vary not only in their types, but also in size, power, and configuration, the smallest being mechanically like an automobile. Commercial trucks may be very large and powerful, configured to mount specialized equipment. These are necessary in the case of fire trucks, concrete mixers, and suction excavators etc.
