We all know that young people in the "Millenial" demographic are less likely to stick to their roots where they grew up. But why? What is the reason that the people who make up this generation is the least likely to remain in their hometowns?

Well, for starters, techonology has made the world a lot smaller for everyone. Whereas pen pals, expensive travel, and encyclopedias used to be the only way to learn about a new place, someone who grew up with access to the internet has the luxury of being able to learn about different cultures with a few clicks.

Because of this, young people are finding jobs, places to live, and even romantic partners in cities where they have never even visited before. With the rise in technological advancement, many doors are opening for those who are brave enough to walk through them.
