The guys did a great job! Worked hard the whole day and made two trips to be sure they got it all. We are very pleased with their work!

The movers were on time and very pleasant. They took care of the items as if they owned them. I appreciated their friendly manner. They also stayed on time and did not waste a minute.

The lady in the office was great made me feel safe and comfortable and she followed up with me before and after the move

The drivers were great and fast they went over and above very nice young men.

You guys made it easy for me Thanks.

My movers were awesome!! They were so kind and considerate. They handled my furniture and belongings with the best of care.

I highly recommend this company. My move was efficient, and quick, and affordable thanks to them. They handled everything in a professional manner and they took out his time to make sure I was 100% satisfied with the move.

I was put in an emergency situation, due to having to be the full-time caretaker for both my parents and needing to move closer to them in order to do so. I was given a 4 day window to do so. I had not been able to find a company able to help, with such short notice, until I reached Unified Van Lines;. The two men sent by them were: friendly, hard workers, considerate of my possessions, and went above and beyond what I asked of them. I can not express how much I valued their help. They made a most difficult situation, a possibility. I will not hesitate to recommend Unified; to anyone in the future. Thank you so much for helping me.

However, the staff made it very easy to file a claim for the insurance included in my moving contract, and I received a settlement that will help cover the cost of a new stand. Overall, I was extremely happy with Unified Van Lines service, and highly recommend them.

Working with Unified Van Lines was great; they made a stressful cross-country move as easy as possible. Everyone I dealt with during the whole moving process was always completely professional, and extremely helpful. The office staff kept me informed and updated with emails and phone calls during every step of the process, and when I called with questions they were always able to give me thorough answers without any delay. They were also very accommodating to the delivery rules of my new apartment building: since we cannot move in on weekends, the delivery window for my things was extended by a few days. Thank you guys!

I used the services of Unified Van Lines for the first time. They helped me to avoid any negative emotions and situations during the process. And now I'm sure that my next moving would be also done by these experienced guys.

I was afraid to move from the very beginning. I knew there would be too many concerns...Van Lines helped me doing it so well. They did everything instead of me. I was drinking coffee and was observing the process. It was a wonderful feeling:)

QuestionIn 1999, The Simpsons episode Maximum Homerdrive aired. It featured Homer and Bart making a delivery for a truck driver named Red after he unexpectedly dies of 'food poisoning'.

QuestionBusiness routes always have the same number as the routes they parallel. For example, U.S. 1 Business is a loop off, and paralleling, U.S. Route 1, and Interstate 40 Business is a loop off, and paralleling, Interstate 40.

Question

Compliance, Safety, and Accountability (CSA) are fundamental to the FMCSA's compliance program. The purpose of the CSA program is to oversee and focus on motor carriers' safety performance. To enforce such safety regulations, the CSA conducts roadside inspections and crash investigations. The program issues violations when instances of noncompliance with CSA safety regulationsare exposed.
Unfortunately, the CSA's number of safety investigation teams and state law enforcement partners are rather small in comparison to the millions of CMV companies and commercial driver license (CDL) holders. A key factor in the CSA programis knownas the Safety Measurement System (SMS).This system relies on data analysis to identify unsafe companies to arrange them for safety interventions. SMS is incredibly helpful to CSA in finding and holding companies accountable for safety performance.

QuestionIn 1893, the Office of Road Inquiry (ORI)was establishedas an organization. However, in 1905 the namewas changedto the Office Public Records (OPR).The organization then went on to become a division of the United States Department of Agriculture. As seen throughout history, organizations seem incapable of maintaining permanent names. So, the organization's namewas changedthree more times, first in 1915 to the Bureau of Public Roads and again in 1939 to the Public Roads Administration (PRA). Yet again, the name was later shifted to the Federal Works Agency, although itwas abolishedin 1949.Finally, in 1949, the name reverted to the Bureau of Public Roads, falling under the Department of Commerce. With so many name changes, it can be difficult to keep up to date with such organizations. This is why it is most important to research and educate yourself on such matters.

QuestionThe American Association of State Highway Officials (AASHO)was organizedand founded on December 12, 1914.On November 13, 1973, the namewas alteredto the American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials. This slight change in name reflects a broadened scope of attention towards all modes of transportation.Despite the implications of the name change, most of the activities itis involvedin still gravitate towards highways.
