A good company with affordable prices. They arrived the next day after I called them. They came with all the necessary materials for packing things. Thank you, you are a very good company. I'll call you again. Thank you!

My friends advised me this company. I called them. Three guys came to me and loaded all my furniture into the big truck. They quickly took everyone to a new house and unloaded. That's great. I will recommend you to everyone!

I'd like to thank Unified Van Lines! I have a lot of glass stuff, but these guys were able to move everything without a single scratch! All things were protected very well with bubble wrap. I'm happy with their service!

This moving company was by far the greatest experience my family and I have ever had . Our first time moving and I'm so happy that it went by smoothly and stress free, they made sure of that. Unified took care of all our belongings as of it where theirs! They where so very careful with our furniture , they wrapped it all up and made sure it was secure and ready to go , all our glass wear was protected very well with bubble wrap and paper , once they unwrapped them not one thing was broken which was very impressive. Unified has the best staff, they all , always made sure to answer all our questions and not leave us with hesitation of any question we wanted to ask. This moving company is the best out there and I would recommend them to anyone and everyone ! Thank you Unified so much for such an amazing humbling experience for my family and I .

Unified Van Lines was great! I was surprised with how they went about business, it was my first time experience with movers and they made moving out from my parents house a lot easier. Friendly staff too was joking around then the whole time. Nothing was broken and everything was treated gently. They had the right tools and equipment to make moving ten times easier. My rep convinced me to actually pull the trigger and go through with everything. He answered all my questions, gave me a good price and matched prices from other companies!

QuestionIn 1895 Karl Benz designed and built the first truck in history by using the internal combustion engine. Later that year some of Benz's trucks gave into modernization and went on to become the first bus by the Netphener. This would be the first motor bus company in history.Hardly a year later, in 1986, another internal combustion engine truckwas built bya man named Gottlieb Daimler. As people began to catch on, other companies, such as Peugeot, Renault, and Bussing, also built their own versions. In 1899, the first truck in the United Stateswas built byAutocar and was available with two optional horsepower motors, 5 or 8.

QuestionThe Motor Carrier Act, passed by Congress in 1935, replace the code of competition. The authorization the Interstate Commerce Commission (ICC) place was to regulate the trucking industry. Since then the ICC has been long abolished, however, it did quite a lot during its time.Based on the recommendations given by the ICC, Congress enacted the first hours of services regulation in 1938. This limited driving hours of truck and bus drivers. In 1941, the ICC reported that inconsistent weight limitation imposed by the states cause problems to effective interstate truck commerce.

Question

The intention of a trailer coupler is to secure the trailer to the towing vehicle. It is an important piece, as the trailer couple attaches to the trailer ball. This then forms a ball and socket connection. It allows for relative movement between the towing vehicle and trailer while towing over uneven road surfaces. The trailer ball shouldbe mountedto the rear bumper or to a drawbar, which may be removable. The drawbar secures to the trailer hitch by inserting it into the hitch receiver and pinning it.
The three most common types of couplers used are straight couplers, A-frame couplers, and adjustable couplers.Another option is bumper-pull hitches in which case draw bars can exert a large amount of leverage on the tow vehicle. This makes it harder to recover from a swerving situation (thus it may not be the safest choice depending on your trip).

QuestionTracing the origins of particular words can be quite different with so many words in the English Dictionary. Some say the word "truck" might have come from a back-formation of "truckle", meaning "small wheel" or "pulley". In turn, both sources emanate from the Greektrokhos(τροχός), meaning "wheel", fromtrekhein(τρέχειν, "to run").
