My first relocation using a professional mover went down just fine. They made it look so easy and simple as I lost nothing during the entire process, but I thank them most for their professionalism and diligence. They did a great job and ensured that I was satisfied and contented at the end of the day. I recommend them.

These guys were really great, and also fantastic at problem solving. The truck provided us with more than enough room to fit 4 bedrooms and two common rooms worth of things, and the guys had no problem stopping at a second pick-up location to pick up my partner's furniture before continuing on to the destination.

We just retired, sold our house and are getting ready to move to a new home. We used Unified Van Lines for our previous move, were happy with their service. Thanks a lot!

Very professional! They came in on time and made sure all of our furniture was protected and well transported. They help with disassembling furniture and assembling in the new house.

When it comes to choosing relocation companies, I am always very keen. I would always do a thorough background before finally considering a move for hiring. I wanted to see how previous clients had to say about their services. I must admit I was so impressed with what I saw. So I hired them out. Their service is first-rate and made me feel like royalty, from how they treated me and my kids, how they were meticulous with my properties. Their care for my things is second to none, they are better at caring for my things than myself! They were splendid and with due respect, I recommend this relocation company.

This is my first experience with movers and it has been a smooth and painless process. They are professional, on time, and very kind to work with. We know that the moving process is extremely stressful so they have made our experience so easy for us.

Suggested my friend to use their services when she was moving from for school. She was happy with their service. They explained her all the fees and moving details and helped to move her belongings to the dorm rooms. It was suitable for a student budget.

Unified Van Lines just completed my move. My representative was very honest and very passionate about his company and his customers' experience. I had a few small issues (which were not his fault) and he followed up very quickly and was very sincere. I would not hesitate to use this company and, in fact, I wish I knew about this company earlier during my many other moves.

I filled out an online form to request an estimate for my move and they called me within a few hours to provide me with information. The price was so low that I wondered what the catch was! I looked the company up and was reassured that the company had good reviews. They followed up with me consistently and were able to move me with very short notice (about a week).

I would recommend this company to anyone. Seriously! Stop looking and just pick Unified already!

The delivery was made on time and everything was in perfect condition. I tried very hard to find one little to complain about. But these people were hell-bent on achieving perfection!

You can never be sure till you see; that is what I have always believed. I wanted people whom I could trust with my properties and my friend suggested Unified Van Lines. She said how good these people were, but I did not believe till I saw it on my own. Unified Van Lines is such an awesome relocation company! When given work, they do it to perfection. They are people who are worth your trust in every possible way.

QuestionAs we've learned the Federal-Aid Highway Act of 1956 was crucial in the construction of the Interstate Highway System. Described as an interconnected network of the controlled-access freeway. It also allowed larger trucks to travel at higher speeds through rural and urban areas alike. This act was also the first to allow the first federal largest gross vehicle weight limits for trucks, set at 73,208 pounds (33,207 kg). The very same year, Malcolm McLean pioneered modern containerized intermodal shipping. This allowed for the more efficient transfer of cargo between truck, train, and ships.

Question

The intention of a trailer coupler is to secure the trailer to the towing vehicle. It is an important piece, as the trailer couple attaches to the trailer ball. This then forms a ball and socket connection. It allows for relative movement between the towing vehicle and trailer while towing over uneven road surfaces. The trailer ball shouldbe mountedto the rear bumper or to a drawbar, which may be removable. The drawbar secures to the trailer hitch by inserting it into the hitch receiver and pinning it.
The three most common types of couplers used are straight couplers, A-frame couplers, and adjustable couplers.Another option is bumper-pull hitches in which case draw bars can exert a large amount of leverage on the tow vehicle. This makes it harder to recover from a swerving situation (thus it may not be the safest choice depending on your trip).

QuestionAnother film released in 1975, White Line Fever, also involved truck drivers. It tells the story of a Vietnam War veteran who returns home to take over his father's trucking business. But, he soon finds that corrupt shippers are trying to force him to carry illegal contraband. While endorsing another negative connotation towards the trucking industry, it does portray truck drivers with a certain wanderlust.

QuestionThe American Trucking Associations initiated in 1985 with the intent to improve the industry's image. With public opinion declining the association triednumerousmoves. One such move was changing the name of the "National Truck Rodeo" to the "National Driving Championship". This was due to the fact that the word rodeo seemed to imply recklessness and reckless driving.

QuestionUltra light trucks are very easy to spot or acknowledge if you are paying attention. They are often producedvariouslysuch as golf cars, for instance, it has internal combustion or a battery electric drive. They usually for off-highway use on estates, golf courses, parks, in stores, or even someone in an electric wheelchair.Whileclearlynot suitable for highway usage, some variations maybe licensedas slow speed vehicles. The catch is that they may on operate on streets, usually a body variation of a neighborhood electric vehicle. A few manufacturers produce specialized chassis for this type of vehicle. Meanwhile, Zap Motors markets a version of thexebraelectric tricycle. Which, believe it or not, is able toattaina general license in the United States as a motorcycle.
