I went online and searched for the best relocation company within my locality. I found Unified Van Lines. I was not sure of their capabilities, but I hired them out anyway. It turned out to be a wonderful one. Maybe it was luck but I found satisfactory services that left me happy. I am so grateful I hired them.

Barely two weeks ago, I moved from my former house to a larger residence in Tacoma. Not only were they efficient but also timely. There was no doubt they had done it in record time.

After what they did to me, I have no reason to opt for another relocation company. Such a thought cannot even cross my mind because I believe they are the best. The manner in which they handled my properties delighted me. The way they handled the whole operation seemed lovelier than I had ever thought. It was good to see and definitely awesome to experience.

They took about 2.5 hours for a move from a 2bd apartment in house. I would highly recommend this company and will certainly use them in the future. They also honored the yelp voucher I had purchased.

They gave me a call an hour prior to arrival as promised and was in the middle of my given time window. I was a second move of the day. They were very professional and did a thorough job wrapping my items carefully and reassembling my solid wood furniture without any issues. I appreciated that they were patient with minor adjustments of placement of furniture /boxes.

I highly recommend using this moving company. The whole experience left me more than impressed with this company's customer service, and, more importantly, the movers themselves, as I mentioned previously, were fast, friendly, careful and adaptive to our needs through the whole move.

Kind, courteous, and went beyond the call of duty. Not to mention very efficient with both time and space. I hate moving, but they made it quick and painless! Highly recommend Unified Van Lines!!!

I moved into a furnished home so there was some moving existing furniture before bringing in my stuff - done quickly, effectively, no breakage.Honestly the move could have been quicker if I'd boxed up everything (and thrown out a lot more) - but other than that, I am a happy customer. They very prifessional!

We moved 4200 lbs of stuff, a lot of it easy to scratch, break and destroy Ikea furniture. Not one thing arrived broken or even blemished. Seriously! Further, EVERYTHING came. We had tons of individual, non-boxed items that I thought for sure would get lost. Nope)) Every single thing, from guitars to individual ski poles arrived.

All I wanted was a company which could guarantee me efficient services at low costs. This move turned to be exactly what I wanted. Really it has to be the most efficient and cost effective method of moving, makes me feel as if I would like to move again. I think everyone deserves good services so any person in need of relocation experts should give them a try.

QuestionReceiving nation attention during the 1960's and 70's, songs and movies about truck driving were major hits. Finding solidarity, truck drivers participated in widespread strikes. Truck drivers from all over opposed the rising cost of fuel. Not to mention this is during the energy crises of 1873 and 1979. In 1980 the Motor Carrier Actdrasticallyderegulated the trucking industry. Since then trucking has come to dominate the freight industry in the latter part of the 20th century. This coincided with what are now known as 'big-box' stores such as Target or Wal-Mart.

QuestionThe Motor Carrier Act, passed by Congress in 1935, replace the code of competition. The authorization the Interstate Commerce Commission (ICC) place was to regulate the trucking industry. Since then the ICC has been long abolished, however, it did quite a lot during its time.Based on the recommendations given by the ICC, Congress enacted the first hours of services regulation in 1938. This limited driving hours of truck and bus drivers. In 1941, the ICC reported that inconsistent weight limitation imposed by the states cause problems to effective interstate truck commerce.

QuestionAs most people have experienced, moving does involve having the appropriate materials. Some materials you might find at home or may be more resourceful to save money while others may choose to pay for everything.Either way materials such as boxes, paper, tape, and bubble wrap with which to pack box-able and/or protect fragile household goods. It is also used toconsolidatethe carrying and stacking on moving day. Self-service moving companies offer another viable option. It involves the person moving buying a space on one or more trailers or shipping containers. These containers are thenprofessionallydriven to the new location.

QuestionThe basics of all trucks are not difficult, as they share common construction. They are generally made of chassis, a cab, an area for placing cargo or equipment, axles, suspension, road wheels, and engine and a drive train. Pneumatic, hydraulic, water, and electrical systems may also be present. Many also tow one or more trailers or semi-trailers, which also vary inmultipleways but are similar as well.

QuestionLight trucksare classifiedthis way because they are car-sized, yet in the U.S. they can be no more than 6,300 kg (13,900 lb). Theseare used bynot only used by individuals but also businesses as well. In the UK they may not weigh more than 3,500 kg (7,700 lb) andare authorizedto drive with a driving license for cars.Pickup trucks, popular in North America, are most seen in North America and some regions of Latin America, Asia, and Africa.Although Europe doesn't seem to follow this trend, where the size of the commercial vehicle is most often made as vans.
