I hired them for my move from NY to FL. Should be simple right? Straight down 95? Nope.
Howard in "dispatch" guaranteed me that they'll arrive on time, didn't happen.
Howard said that my price will only change if I changed my order, which is understandable. I expected the price to change because I decided NOT to take my living room set. Well, when the truck finally arrived 3 days LATE, the movers said the price went UP?!?! I have 1,000lbs less furniture and the price went up?!?
I called High Priority and asked why this was happening and they explained that the company they hired to move me (bc they're a broker, not a real moving company) has their own prices and High Priority only gives estimates. So I have to pay more money to move less furniture. I feel scammed and Howard said there's nothing he can do, despite being the "Dispatch Manager". WTF does that even mean "dispatch manager"?? You don't dispatch anything bc you have no trucks. What are you managing? You can't even give a real estimate to move me.
Oh and most of my stuff arrived broken and their insurance is crap too. They'll cover something like 25 cents per pound of damaged furniture

All the excellent reviews are true! We had a flawless move. Any furniture that needed it was wrapped in plastic...which was greatly appreciated. The men were on time, finished before the estimate, were polite and willing to accommodate moving requests. I would highly recommend them, and will use High Priority Movers again.

I have a huge collection of glass made decors. When the team from High Priority Movers jumped into the scene, I could sense their knowledge in packing and handling expensive things. My heart is beating normal now. Great experience, thank you guys for the safe delivery.

We had such a wonderful experience with High Priority Movers, the other weekend! Were on time and ready to go! We had a lot of things and it was a ridiculously hot day, but these guys were so professional and efficient. We can't say enough good things about them. Every step of the way they were extremely careful with our belongings, which we really appreciated.

Did you know?

Prior to the 20th century, freight was generally transported overland via trains and railroads. During this time, trains were essential, and they were highly efficient at moving large amounts of freight. But, they could only deliver that freight to urban centers for distribution by horse-drawn transport. Though there were several trucks throughout this time, they were used more as space for advertising that for actual utility. At this time, the use of range for trucks was quite challenging. The use of electric engines, lack of paved rural roads, and small load capacities limited trucks to most short-haul urban routes.
A commercial driver's license (CDL) is a driver's license required to operate large or heavy vehicles.
“Country music scholar Bill Malone has gone so far as to say that trucking songs account for the largest component of work songs in the country music catalog. For a style of music that has, since its commercial inception in the 1920s, drawn attention to the coal man, the steel drivin’ man, the railroad worker, and the cowboy, this certainly speaks volumes about the cultural attraction of the trucker in the American popular consciousness.” — Shane Hamilton
As we know in the trucking industry, some trailers are part of large trucks, which we call semi-trailer trucks for transportation of cargo. Trailers may also be used in a personal manner as well, whether for personal or small business purposes.
A properly fitted close-coupled trailer is fitted with a rigid tow bar. It then projects from its front and hooks onto a hook on the tractor. It is important to not that it does not pivot as a
Ultra light trucks are very easy to spot or acknowledge if you are paying attention. They are often produced variously such as golf cars, for instance, it has internal combustion or a battery electric drive. They usually for off-highway use on estates, golf courses, parks, in stores, or even someone in an electric wheelchair. While clearly not suitable for highway usage, some variations may be licensed as slow speed vehicles. The catch is that they may on operate on streets, usually a body variation of a neighborhood electric vehicle. A few manufacturers produce specialized chassis for this type of vehicle. Meanwhile, Zap Motors markets a version of the
