Just a quick thank you for a seamless move! This was my family's fifth relocation and by far this was our best experience. The team's professionalism and attention to detail was second to none. I would highly recommend Regional Relocation Systems to anyone.

I used Regional Relocations to move from Alabama back home to Texas. They gave us a cheap quote so it seemed like a good deal. It was not. They were several days late to pick up my belongings. They charged me almost $700 more because my belongings took more space in the moving truck than they thought (of course they only do this once they have already loaded everything so you basically have your hands tied behind your back). So by the time they added that on, they were as expensive as other moving companies. After a week, I had received no communication of where my things were at so I called and asked if they could give an estimate of when they would be delivered. The office staff were rude and unprofessional on the phone. They gave me an estimate of 1-2 weeks. After 2 weeks, still no communication so I called again. They couldn't give me an estimate this time. Basically said it would be there within the guaranteed delivery period. It was not. By the time they delivered my things, it had been two months and they gave only a few days notice on when they would deliver. Of course I was on vacation and my parents had to drive across Texas to let the movers in while I was away. They mistreated my furniture. There were scratches and dents everywhere. My TV WAS MISSING among several other boxes and items. I even had other people's items show up at my place. 100% will never use these crooks again.

I heard movers will double book jobs and then not cancel or show up for the lesser job, thus leaving you with a huge problem, particularly if you HAVE to move by deadline. This was my biggest worry, but Regional Relocation Systems were wonderful, on time, professional, hard working, helpful in many ways. I had a small refrigerator that had not been defrosted in years; My movers worked on it and saved me having a big leaky mess and an expenditure of energy on a big move day. Very grateful. Their pre-move info was organized and helpful. I definitely recommend them.

This was our 6th and the best move. The movers and driver on both ends were fast, neat, and professional. I have no complaints!

I have experienced disastrous moves and was worried about booking, but I was luckily recommended to Regional Relocation Systems by a friend. Their customer service was a breeze to deal with and they were available whenever I needed them. I was so impressed by them and their awesome crew, Nick, Eugene, and Lino who were on time, wrapped everything completely, and kept a good pace throughout the day. Everything was packed and delivered to the highest level! I highly recommend Regional to anyone moving cross country. Thanks guys!

We wanted a full service move, and Regional was able to perform above and beyond our expectations. They planned and coordinated our move from Florida to Texas on very short notice and kept in contact with us every step of the way. Upon arrival their guys were hard working and focused and it was impressive how organized they were. Moving is very stressful especially when you have many fragile items of sentimental value but watching them pack and load everything with such care and reinforcement was enough for us to feel relaxed during the process which is more than we could have asked for. Thank you Regional!

  • A moving company, removalist, or van line are all companies that help people as well as other businesses to move their goods from one place to another. With many inclusive services for relocation like packing, loading, moving, unloading, unpacking and arranging of items can all be taken care of for you. Some services may include cleaning the place and have warehousing facilities.
  • According to the U.S. Census Bureau, 40 million United States citizens have moved annually over the last decade. Of those people who have moved in the United States, 84.5% of them have moved within their own state, 12.5% have moved to another state, and 2.3% have moved to another country.
  • In the United States and Canada, the cost for long-distance moves is generally determined by a few factors. The first is the weight of the items to be moved and the distance it will go. Cost is also based on how quickly the items are to be moved, as well as the time of the year or month which the move occurs. In the United Kingdom and Australia, it's quite different. They base price on the volume of the items as opposed to their weight. Keep in mind some movers may offer flat rate pricing.
  • Many people are familiar with this type of moving, using truck rental services, or borrowing similar hardware, is known as DIY moving. Whoever is renting a truck or trailer large enough to carry their household goods may obtain moving equipment if necessary. Equipment may be items such as dollies, furniture pads, and cargo belts to protect furniture and to ease the moving process.
  • As most people have experienced, moving does involve having the appropriate materials. Some materials you might find at home or may be more resourceful to save money while others may choose to pay for everything. Either way materials such as boxes, paper, tape, and bubble wrap with which to pack box-able and/or protect fragile household goods. It is also used to consolidate the carrying and stacking on moving day. Self-service moving companies offer another viable option. It involves the person moving buying a space on one or more trailers or shipping containers. These containers are then professionally driven to the new location.
  • There many reasons for moving, each one with a unique and specific reason as to why. Relocation services, employee relocation, or workforce mobility can create a range of processes. This process of transferring employees, their families, and/or entire departments of a business to a new location can be difficult. Like some types of employee benefits, these matters are dealt with by human resources specialists within a corporation.
