Sweet, working with Moving Kings Van Lines!
Wow what a great company. They were honest about everything upfront, efficient laborers, and friendly customer service!
This company has been fantastic. I move often for work and I will definitely use this company again.
Moving Kings Van Lines would be our favorite mover. We didn't feel any stress moving from Florida to Texas with this company. They fulfilled all they said they would and we appreciate them for the job well-done!
Wow! I never knew there is a moving company that charges low and yet delivers an excellent job. All my friends get to know about this moving company.
A close family friend recently made a long distance move using Moving Kings. They came highly recommended, so I figured I would give them a call and get a free quote. I called in and my moving coordinator gave me all of the information I needed. The price, which by the way was a really good price for sure made me put down my deposit right away. From the bottom of my heart I want to thank Moving Kings. Not just for completing our move but for checking up on us and making sure we were satisfied with everything overall.
Overall, the experience was fantastic, and I would recommend Moving Kings. We recently moved from New York to Florida to retire and were very happy with the great service we received. They were fantastic. So professional, hard working, and very friendly! Moving Kings made our experience much easier and painless. Very very pleased with service I received, everything went according to plan and they are the best!
I don't have much moving experience, I've lived in the same home for 25+ years. With that being said, I was very nervous. I chose Moving Kings because the rep. I spoke with was very knowledgeable and helpful. He really made an impression. They picked up on time, arrived at our new address on time, and the final price that we paid was exactly what they quoted me from the start! I have absolutely no complaints at all. If I ever decide to move, I won't even flinch on who to call. Moving Kings to the rescue. ;)
Usually I do not write reviews, but this time I wanted to do it since I was very happy with the service. Their service was very good from the first phone call, my moving coordinator was very helpful and walked me through the whole process without any hassle. They were efficient, thoughtful and diligent as they moved my furniture. They stuck to the time frame that was given and everything was able to get there in time. If I ever need to move long distance again, Moving Kings will be my first phone call.
Moving Kings did an amazing job with my move. I was extremely nervous for my cross country move, but they handled everything in a timely manner, and had the most helpful employees. I give them 5 stars! I Would absolutely recommend this company
From start to finish my belongings and I were treated with respect. My moving coordinator did an amazing job doing a thorough inventory of my things to provide a super accurate estimate. I would recommend Moving Kings to anybody seeking a professional company for a substantial, long-distance move.
A very good working team, with great understanding. They do whatever you ask them to do. Removing everything and kept the apartment tidy. Simply awesome!
I felt comfortable meeting these folks for my moving. They met all my needs, from the CS to the crew are all awesome staff. I will do another business with them soon again.
Fantastic mover! They shifted me from Florida to North Carolina safely. Smooth transfer and cool price! Will hire them in the future again.

In American English, the word "truck" has historically been preceded by a word describing the type of vehicle, such as a "tanker truck". In British English, preference would lie with "tanker" or "petrol tanker".
In 1999, The Simpsons episode Maximum Homerdrive aired. It featured Homer and Bart making a delivery for a truck driver named Red after he unexpectedly dies of 'food poisoning'.
Trucks of the era mostly used two-cylinder engines and had a carrying capacity of 1,500 to 2,000 kilograms (3,300 to 4,400 lb). In 1904, 700 heavy trucks were built in the United States, 1000 in 1907, 6000 in 1910, and 25000 in 1914. A Benz truck modified by Netphener company (1895)
The Federal Bridge Law handles relations between the gross weight of the truck, the number of axles, and the spacing between them. This is how they determine is the truck can be on the Interstate Highway system. Each state gets to decide the maximum, under the Federal Bridge Law. They determine by vehicle in combination with axle weight on state and local roads
The 1950's were quite different than the years to come. They were more likely to be considered "Knights of the Road", if you will, for helping stranded travelers. In these times truck drivers were envied and were viewed as an opposition to the book "The Organization Man". Bestseller in 1956, author William H. Whyte's novel describes "the man in the gray flannel suit", who sat in an office every day. He's describing a typical office style job that is very structured with managers watching over everyone. Truck drivers represented the opposite of all these concepts. Popular trucking songs glorified the life of drivers as independent "wanderers". Yet, there were attempts to bring back the factory style efficiency, such as using tachnographs. Although most attempts resulted in little success. Drivers routinely sabotaged and discovered new ways to falsify the machine's records.
The Department of Transportation (DOT) is the most common government agency that is devoted to transportation in the United States. The DOT is the largest United States agency with the sole purpose of overseeing interstate travel and issue's USDOT Number filing to new carriers.
