BEWARE when having them move expensive items!! I scheduled them on my escrow closing day for the hourly price at $170 an hour through text message with NO MENTION OF A CONTRACT. No way was I able to read it all or not sign it simply because I needed to be out that day. To make a long story short they damaged my refrigerator and only paid me $.60 a pound for it. A total of $180. Dealing with them was the MOST STRESSFUL part of moving.

My move was fairly straight forward. Local PU with a couple month storage then the delivery. Contacted Tim for the move and we had a pretty lengthy conversation on what we were moving and were we were going. He sent over a form, which we meticulously filled out, then had a another call to go over each item. Just filling out the form was odd for us, Tim never stopped by to visualize what was to be moved like the other moving companies had when they gave us their quotes. Told us it would take one day to completely get us out of our home (we had a two story) I was shocked but hey, they are the movers. On moving day Tim and the crew were hours late, didn't have enough people and the moving van was WAY smaller than what was needed, making it impossible to get move done in the time allotted. this all could of been avoided if Tim would of put eyes on what was to be moved instead of relying on a document. They showed up the next day even later than the day before and even smaller crew telling us it would only take a couple hours. Eight hours, just past midnight they were wrapping up. During the move Tim pulled us aside stating that thy miscalculated the storage and it would be a couple hundred dollars more, again could of been avoided. We even downsized 1/3 buy selling everything that we felt would not go into a new build. Nothing was added to the move and as a matter of fact was way less than what was on the document. So some things I need to mention here because it plays a factor as this BS continues. During this two day move fest Tim made it a point to tell us (numerous times) several stories on how his teams messed up a couple moves and now he has to pay out of pocket bla bla bla. He has a pretty good sob story to the point we felt bad for the guy. Well the day come for the move into our new home and most of our furniture is damaged. A dresser had an "X" carved into the top, An antique family heirloom table center support had been broken, custom farm table frame had chunks broken away, a secretaries desk damaged.... very disheartening. So as per contract, we notified Tim prior to the 30 days. Now something that you have to be aware of, his contract says you can go on his page to file a claim yet when I went on his page there is no where to file. This should be a warning flag. When I asked him to provide the insurance information for a claim, Tim stated that he already filed the claim on our behalf, which again was odd because if he did, what did he file on the claim? where did the check go to? If this is accurate, and I can see how legal it is, Tim just got paid AGAIN for the damage he had done to my furniture and BTW, that is insurance fraud. What he told us was, the check was in the mail... I can go on, but to cut this short(er), we were told by Tim that since we were no longer clients he did not have to worry about us. There not even once quit moving and we had an alternate employment then an ordinary move. We needed to put a large portion of our stuff in a case and afterward the rest was moving. They knew how to stack it where to put the things. It was simply stunning.

They arrived sooner than required at the capacity unit and called me before arriving. They were amicable and quick. I called attention to my delicate things and they took care of them precisely. Upon entry to my new residence, they offered me some assistance with setting up my bed and offered me some assistance with unwrapping my delicate things, which arrived securely. I would utilize them once more.

They came In and dealt with are stuff with deference ( they pressed better them we did lol ) and care. They were quick on both pressing the truck and unloading the truck. Profoundly suggest!!! We will thoroughly utilize them once more!

Recently, I observed Chris Gutierrez, his brother Steven, and father Richard (who work for Fresno Moving & Storage (FMS)) unload and setup furniture that was shipped from Nashville. As soon as they entered the truck packed with a house full of furniture, their first comment was this was a poor packing job. Just to start with, a mattress purchased just over a year ago for $2K was not wrap and you could see the dirt, and when unloaded you could see a deep hole with liquid damage. As they unloaded FMS they identified and took pictures of the all damages (due to the poor packing which was pretty extensive) before they removed the items. FMS unloaded with care and in a professional manner in a timely manner. They did a great job of setting up items and putting the labeled boxes in the correct rooms. The folks who packed the house in Nashville are no way connected to FMS. Probably would have better to pay to have Chris, Steven, and Richard flown to the origination city to pack and flown home to unpack, that way you could be sure everything would look the same and be in one piece.

MILITARY SERVICEMEMBERS, MAKE SURE THIS COMPANY IS ON YOUR LIST OF TSPs TO AVOID! I regret not looking at reviews for this company and letting the military choose my TSP for me. It looks like not much has changed in six years and "Bobby B's" review on 4/17/2014 is on point. My experience was similar. The movers arrived a day late (without notifying me), then did what was a planned two day pack and load job in one day. The driver was rude and tried to change the delivery date from the one I had agreed upon weeks before. Mia Garza is a real piece of work. When I called her about this she had every excuse under the sun for the late arrival and delivery date change. Apparently personal responsibility is not a value at Lemoore Van & Storage (You're e-mail signature literally says "Dispatcher/Move Coordinator" Mia. In what way is this NOT your responsibility?) In addition to being grossly incompetent packers (ex. on arrival I discovered a entire large frame with a painting that was packed with NO packing paper, broken of course), the movers were rushed and a number of items went on the truck without tags. Numerous items were damaged. Their claims adjuster, Patti, instead of making things right, low-balled almost every item they carelessly broke or misplaced. When I forwarded it to the military claims office she claimed I did not give her enough info to prove value (she had my contact info, all she had to do was ask). This is a disorganized, and extremely unprofessional moving company. It would not surprise me the only reason they survive here is because they have a government contract. Fellow service-members, lets fix this by A) avoiding this TSP and B) taking the time (as much as it is a pain) to write an honest review. Hopefully that will prevent more of our tax dollars being wasted on this sad excuse for a moving company.
