These folks were great! I was blowing a gasket about moving in light of the fact that I have had some terrible encounters with Sata Clara movers before, yet they truly cleared out my desires. How is this company still in business??? I will tell you how they use Broker company's with good reviews to do the smooth-talking, and then you get this company. If I knew that this company would be handling my move, I would have never used them in a million years. On pick up, they showed up 3 hours late. My pick-up time was supposed to be 3-5 pm. They showed up at quarter to 9. On arrival, I was told that the tariff was filled out improperly, and they had to call to get it adjusted from weight to something else. This was my first red flag. If it weren't for the fact that I had already put a large sum of money down, I would have just called it then. They get all my stuff out to the truck and tell me it will be almost a grand more than initially quoted and that I owed them over 900 right then and there in cash. I looked at the guy and told him that I had a cashier's check for the original amount and that I could write him a check for the remaining amount as it was now after 10 pm, and nowhere was open for me to run and get that kind of cash. Things to look out for that they will not tell you. the first available pick-up date is the date they start counting from for your delivery. SO if you need your stuff quickly don't use this company. You want an update, you need to call them and ask, and you need to keep calling because they will not contact you. I had to reach out almost every day to get them to give me anything, only to call back and be told that that was not correct. If you are making a long-distance move, don't do what I did. More or less this is the most exceedingly awful moving organization I have ever utilized. Roger cited me it would take 3.5 - 4 hours for my turn to be finished with 3 movers and a truck. He showed up the morning of the planned move with just 1 other mover (so 2 altogether) with no heads up and continue to assume control 7 hours to finish the move. This wound up costing path more than the first 3.5 - 4 hour cite. Moreover, amid the move our bed outline must be dismantled and reassembled and this was done so inadequately, I don't think the bed casing will survive another move. To finish it off, while the bed casing was being dismantled, Roger was assembling about the way that it was Ikea furniture the entire time which I was exceptionally amateurish. I used this moving company once Ive got rave reviews from my mom and dad and aunty who just moved and they had an outstanding experience!!! They had to reschedule the move twice because construction company delayed the completion of the renovation project their house and it was not done. When they called the office they were so understanding and helpful. The day before my move Mike called me to remind about my appointment, I liked that! Driver also called me the next day. Movers arrived on time that day. And worked very careful and efficient. Movers packed the entire house and moved it in one day and did a very good job on packing all the fragile items. Even it was a local moving we still had to pack boxes and take all the beds apart. But packing and moving of kitchen cabinet content we still left for the guys to do. I have checked after the move there was no scratches or any furniture damage on any of the items and nothing was broken. It has taken me some time to offer my review. I had such a traumatic moving experience with my previous landlord. My Pastors ended up helping me to offer support. The team was great and also really helped lift the experience. Initially, the team of packers came to my old unit to pack my things. I was nervous, at first, but, they were friendly, focused, and professional. It was a small team, but, they were amazing. Super organized. They knew exactly what to do. They used a variety of boxes, (wardrobe, large, small), and great packing material for everything. They packed a large one, almost 2 bedrooms, in only 3.5 hours. Alisa, Ruben, and Miro--thank you so much! Next, the crew came to load my belongings into the van. These are big, strong, guys, but, they were very kind and professional. They loaded the truck and unloaded it at a storage facility since my new apartment was not ready to move into yet. Although I had two of the largest storage units, they were still quite small and the team managed to fit my many items neatly and securely into both. Afterward, all the work was very neatly displayed on the order and the payment process was smooth. When unpacking my items, it is very clear that a lot of thought went into how to pack them so that they would be secure/unbroken. I should say that I was very happy and glad I used this company. they were professional in their work and very through of packing and hauling my belongings. they came right on time and pack very gently and listened to my requirement. I hope and wish every company act like these people and take care of their customers. I am going to talk about this company and their personal with every body. when I received my packages and when I opened they were safe and without scratch.
