     Finding free moving boxes can be a pain but moving boxes are everywhere. You have to keep your eyes open and know where to look it may take you a while but you can get them if you want them used for free.  you do find moving boxes for free keep in mind that you are helping the environment and this is definitely a positive thing.

Be careful not take any boxes that belong to anyone or they want to keep them. When choosing your boxes make sure that they are study and clean.  Dont take any boxes that have any oil soaked into them or any liquids that seem to have soaked into the boxes. This could transfer into your belongs while in transport or if the Sun heats it. 

Here are a top 4 places to find free moving boxes:

• Retailers Stores

Retailers always discard boxes, they normally break them down and leave them behind the stores. simply ask the manager or employees if you can have them. Mall are a great place to  stop because they normally have you merchandise within the boxes so they'll probably be clean.  If you don't want to ask the employees and want to wait for them to put the boxes into the dumpster you can drive to where the dumpsters are and go rummaging.  supermarkets or liquor stores also have a lot of boxes but many times are very dirty and can have holes in the boxes such as fruit boxes.  I don't advise these boxes because things tend to fall out. Only get boxes that can close.

• Back of Large Apartment Buildings

Large apartment buildings are a great place to look for boxes.  The best time to look for moving boxes are a couple of days after the first of the month. Its common for people to move out of large apartment buildings so sometimes hitting these places will reap success.       

• Office Buildings in Metropolitan citys 
  

Lots ofl office buildings have packages delivered to them constantly.  If you ask the security or management they will happily direct you to where they throw these boxes away. You may have to go a couple of times to pick up the amount that you the amount of boxes that you will need

• Craigslist.org

craigslist can be hit or miss.  Sometimes you can hit the jackpot and get the amount of boxes that you'll need but sometimes the people giving away boxes can live a long way away or there many be nothing around.  on craigslist you want to look for " free stuff" tab.
